FAQs

Q?

How often should I have my Solar Panels cleaned?

A.

We recommend that you have your Solar Panels cleaned, depending on your location, every 6-8 months. This will ensure that your solar panels are always performing as they should and continuously generating you your desired ROI.

Q?

How often should I look to have my gutters, soffits and fascias cleaned?

A.

We generally recommend having your UPVC cleaned on an annual basis; we would include your gutters, soffits and fascias in this. This will avoid stains from taking place and keep them looking as they should.

Q?

How come you can you clean in our windows in the rain?

A.

The old method of window cleaning used chemicals and/or oil based soaps. This meant that not only could the cleaning not take place in the rain but also streaks would be left on the glass. We often hear of customers who are left with dots/spots on their glass too. This is not the case with purified water and our water fed poles. Our window cleaning cleans the frames, sills and then the glass. We then rinse the glass. The purified water does its job regardless of the weather; the rinsing also ensures that the window has the 'full treatment'. The fact that we clean the frames, sills and vents also means that the rain will not wash any dirt back onto the glass.

Q?

How does window cleaning with the pole work?

A.

Dirt particles are agitated using a purpose made, soft-bristled brush, which is then rinsed away using 100%, triple filtered, purified water. No chemicals or detergents get used. After each clean, the windows will be left wet, and this is normal. The windows will dry naturally, and you will be impressed with the results. You will likely notice that the windows seem to stay cleaner for longer compared to the traditional method which leaves a sticky soap residue on the window.

Q?

Why is window cleaning with the pole better?

A.

The water fed pole uses purified, de-ionised water; the bristles on the patented brush/es gently agitate the dirt without damaging the glass or frames. The frames and sills are also included in the clean. Once the brush has done its job, the water jets within the brush head frame are used to rinse the frame, window/s and sills down. The glass will dry streak-free, spot-free and glistening.

Q?

How frequently should I have my windows and frames cleaned?

A.

This will somewhat depend on the type of windows you have, the area you live and the type of cleaning that takes place. We have a brush for every type of window and because we use purified water, your windows will stay cleaner for longer. Most areas in Dorset will get the best results and provide real value for money on a 6-8 weekly basis.

Q?

The glass has been left wet; why?

A.

The first clean will be hardest to 'get your head around'. There will be water droplets left on the glass; these need to be left to dry. The droplets will dry 'crystal clear' with no streaks or marks. Second time round, this process will be quicker.

Q?

How often should I look to have my gutters vacuumed?

A.

For general maintenance, you should have your gutter vacuumed every 12-15 months. This will ensure that your gutters do what they should channel rain water in the right direction and protect your property from becoming subject to damp.

Q?

How should I pay for your services?

A.

We accept cash, cheque or bank transfer; we are quite laid back with this but we do ask that payments take place within seven days of the clean.
